Pastor's Mario & Tammy Ford

Mario and Tammy Ford were called into the ministry in 1999, they both answered the call of Matthew 28:19 to “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” They co-founded a Christian outreach ministry called Tent Ministries, which hosts annually summer tent revivals known as the “Soul Winning Restoration Harvest Crusade.” Their passion has always been to reach the lost by bringing the Gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ to local communities throughout the City of Philadelphia and surrounding areas. They were fruitful with promoting the Gospel by bringing their old fashion outdoor tent revival meetings to the lost, the hurting and the disenfranchised and seeing many souls come to Jesus Christ.

 

Mario and Tammy were both ordained together on August 16th, 2015 by Power in the Cross Ministries an International and World Missions Outreach Ministry out of Tennessee under the leadership of Dr. and Mrs. James Barnett and a partnership was established.

 

Additionally, both Mario and Tammy carried the mantle of prayer on their lives, since 2003 they have worked with high profile Pastors and Ministry Leaders in building Houses of Prayer as stated in Matthew 21:13 “My House Shall Be Called the House of Prayer.” They both served in ministry leadership roles as Prayer Pastors working with local pastors in developing their Intercessory Prayer Teams and working one on one developing their teams with of up to 50 plus intercessors. They have hosted annually 3 day prayer shut-ins, leadership workshops & seminars, 24/7 HR prayer watches, monthly leadership prayer forums, 30-40 day focused prayer & fasting seasons for churches with up to 3000 plus members. They also host a daily prayer line with prayer warriors and intercessors spanning across the country from Philadelphia, New York, Pittsburg, Georgia, Texas, Mississippi and Tennessee.

 

Since 1994, they both Co-Owned a successful business called Careers Express, Inc., a temporary and permanent placement staffing solutions firm located in King of Prussia, PA. As a couple they have been married since 1984 and have been blessed with three beautiful young adult children, Mario, Jr., Kaylin, and Marcus. Mario is originally from Panama and speaks fluent Spanish. He attended the University of Panama and Tammy was a graduate of Eastern University in Wayne, PA. On December 12, 2021 Pastor Tammy was called home to be with the Lord and Pastor Mario is continuing on with their Vision and Mission to continue to bring souls to Christ.
